Our stomach produces and releases natural acids. Sometimes, when processes don’t work regularly or are hampered by various activities, acid buildup causes pain and discomfort. Sometimes we experience a buildup of acid in the body, mainly due to the fact that the Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES) – the valve in the stomach – doesn’t close or closes too often, when it should close once food passes through it. 1. You can take a tablespoon of Cumin seeds and boil them in two glasses of water for about 10-15 minutes until the juice is extracted into the water. Once done, let the water cool down then you can take the water and drink it after all three meals to get rid of stomach acid and gas problems.

2. Add Cumin seeds to your daily recipes, such as use it as a spice while cooking pulses, rice, beans, green leafy vegetables, etc. Cumin seeds feed a free kick and are slightly crunchy.

3. Buy whole Cumin seeds from the market, dry them in a frying pan until they taste like ground and smoky; Let it cool before grinding it in a spice grinder or mortar.

4. The benefits of Jeera are best achieved by soaking in water overnight and consumed empty stomach first thing in the morning after waking up. Jeera swells when immersed in water and releases essential nutrients into the water, resulting in an earthy yellow color. If you prefer a bit of flavor, you can add a little lime juice or cinnamon. Also, drink this water twice a day, 30 minutes after lunch and in the evening for best results.

5. Soak a teaspoon of Jeera in a glass of water overnight, boil this water the next morning and let the extract seep into the water. Strain, let cool then drink.
