Tolangulasana Yoga & How To Do Tolangulasana
Tolangulasana or Weighing Scale Pose is great for controlling Obesity and Toning the Abdominal Organs. Tolangulasana view like a weighing scale in the final pose, Hence the name. It relaxes and also helps strengthen the shoulders and arms. This pose also provides a feeling of relaxation and balance.
Steps To Do Tolangulasana
- Sit on the floor and assume Padmasana pose. Padmasana is the sacrum for meditation.
- Lean back and support your body weight with your elbows. Place your palms under your butt.
- Continue to raise your head, torso and legs.
- All body weight should be balanced with the palms under the buttocks and elbows.
- Inhale slowly and hold your breath. Do chin locks or Jalandhara Bandha.
- Hold your breath and hold this position as long as you are comfortable.
- To release the pose, return your feet to the floor and exhale slowly. Release the sacrum position. Lie Down in Shavasana to rest.
- You can repeat this up to 5 times as soon as you feel comfortable.
