In very simple terms, diabetes is a metabolic disease that causes high blood sugar. When blood sugar levels are above normal it can cause serious health problems for the individual. There are two main types of diabetes – type 1 and type 2.
Type 1 diabetes is very common in children and adolescents, but can affect people of all ages. Similar to type 2 diabetes, diabetes can develop at any age, but is more common in people over the age of 40.

1. BITTER GOURD OR KARELA
