Tadasana Yoga & How To Do Tadasana
The Term “Tada” comes from Sanskrit which means “Palm Tree” or another meaning is “Mountain” and the meaning of Asana is “Posture” or “Seat”. So this asana is called Tadasana. Depending on the ancestor practiced, Tadasana and Samasthitih can refer to the same asana or to other similar asanas. So the Sama meaning is straight, level, balanced, and sthiti means standing or standing still. Tadasana is the beginning and end of the Surya Namaskar Asana after Ashtanga Yoga.
Steps To Do Tadasana
- Stand straight on the floor and make a small gap between your legs.
- Taking a deep breath, raise your arms.
- Raise your arms by crossing your fingers.
- Now lift your feet and lift your heels at the same time.
- Feel the pressure from the extension of the toes to fingers.
- Try to hold this posture as long as possible, By breathing slowly and deeply.
- Return to starting position by taking a deep breath (exhaling).
- You can do as many laps as you like after spending time relaxing.
