10 Home Remedies To Clear Nasal Congestion

We used to pick up steam by pouring hot water into a bowl and putting towels on our heads to inhale the steam. But today there are a variety of vapors available for steam inhalation. It is also used for beauty causes like facial to make your face glow. You add antiseptic and steaming herbs like peppermint seeds and take the steam 2-3 times a day.

2: Warm Compress

A warm compress can help clear a stuffy nose by reducing inflammation and opening up the nasal cavity. You can apply heat pressure from outside your nose which will help you a lot. This can reduce inflammation in the nose and sinuses and make breathing easier.

3: Ginger

Ginger has high anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help reduce nasal congestion. It is very effective for nasal congestion. You can take ginger as a compressor.

For the compressor, you can boil 2 cups of water with a little ginger in it. Leave a fresh washcloth on your brows and place it gently on your face for 15 minutes. You can also make ginger tea and drink this tea three times a day to instantly relieve nasal congestion.

4: Honey

Honey is versatile as it helps with any ailment. It is a rich source of strong nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. It also has antibacterial properties that help fight various bacterial infections. Honey can soothe the nasal passages, irritate the throat, and clear up excess mucus buildup.

Two tablespoons of honey with a cup of warm water can clear blocked nasal passages. You can also add honey and milk or tea to help relieve your symptoms.

5: Garlic

Garlic is the best source of antioxidants, which stimulate your immune system by increasing white blood cells. It helps in the production of antibodies that can fight your breathing problems.

You can add a few cloves of garlic or crushed garlic and hot soup at least twice a day.

6: Grapefruit Extract

It is a rich source of vitamin C and antioxidants that will boost your immunity. It contains a powerful antioxidant called quercetin which works as an antiallergic agent.

For best results, add a few drops of grapefruit extract to warm water and inhale. This extract steam can instantly clean your blocked channels.

7: Onion

8: Spices

9: Apple Cider Vinegar
