Home Remedies For Loose Motions In Adults

Loose Motions makes you very weak and lethargic. This is because the water content in the body continues to decrease. There are many reasons why people experience sluggish movements or diarrhea.

It can be caused by consumption of soft foods, contaminated water, food allergies, or excessive alcohol consumption or stress. Sometimes also because of drugs. Let’s go over some Home Remedies For Loose Motion.

1. Coconut Water: Coconut water prevents dehydration through loose motion. It replenishes lost minerals in the body. It soothes the stomach and also lowers acidity. Drink 2-3 glasses of coconut water for diarrhea.

2. Cumin Water: Add a tablespoon of cumin in a glass of water and bring it to a boil. Allow this mixture to cool and consume 3-4 times a day after meals. It is one of the most readily available kitchen items for dealing with loose motions. You can also take a teaspoon of cumin and drink water. Very good for the digestive system.

3. Yogurt: Of all dairy products, yogurt is the only dairy product that is safe for free circulation. The bacteria in yogurt or quarks are great for your stomach when you have diarrhea.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar: Due to its antibacterial properties, it protects the digestive tract from infection and inflammation. Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a glass of warm water along with honey. Take this twice a day to stop bowel motions.

8. Ginger: Ginger strengthens the digestive system and is one of the best remedies for treating diarrhea. You can also add ground ginger to the buttermilk for instant results with an easy motion.

9. Mint And Honey: Although we usually consume mint for freshness, it is also used as a medicine to heal loose movements. Add 1 teaspoon of fresh mint juice, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of honey to a cup of warm water. Consuming this mixture immediately with warm water can be very effective.

10. Cinnamon And Honey: Cinnamon contains anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. These properties help get rid of stomach problems and treat diarrhea. Adding a teaspoon of honey and cinnamon and warm water can do wonders with gentle movements.

Prevention Tips:

  • Drink enough water and stay hydrated.
  • You may have to avoid fruit and fruit juices as fructose is difficult to digest when you have diarrhea.
  • Eat high-fiber foods that include broccoli, peas, bananas, etc.
  • Avoid alcohol.
  • Find out if you are allergic to any type of food and avoid it.
  • Eat healthy and hygienic food.
