While doing this Vartulasana, the body shape is round like a circle, which is why this Asana is called Vartulasana. Vartulasana is a Halasana type. Those who are good at Halasana can easily do Vartulasana.
Technique:
Lie on the back and first practice Halasana. Then slowly lower your arms and hold the toes with your hands. Don’t give a jerk to your body during this exercise. Stay in this pose for 8 to 10 seconds. Then slowly raise your legs and bring your body back to the floor in its original position without jerking it. Then place your arms straight out from the side of your thighs.
How To Do Vartulasana
- Lie on your back on the floor.
- Move your legs backwards as you lift both feet forward and back in halasana.
- Now move the tip of the right foot with the right hand and the tip of the left foot with the left hand as shown in the image.
- Make sure that your body does not jerk while performing this asana.
- Release your toes after remaining in this sitting position for eight to ten seconds.
- Now slowly get back to normal.
- Keep your hands straight on your butt.
