Hakini Mudra Meaning

Hakini means “Strength” or “Rule” and the Sanskrit word Mudra means Gestures or inclination. As it relates to the power of the mind, it is also called a Mudra for the Mind or Brain. It is usually done during Pranayama and Meditation.

Steps To Do Hakini Mudra

  • Raise your hands and let them face each other without touching them.
  • Fold the fingers of both hands inward and let the fingertips of both hands touch each other.
  • Make sure your palms are not touching as the fingertips will serve as the single connection point for the two hands.
  • Focus your eyes on the third eye, 6th chakra (center of forehead).
  • Inhale and let your tongue touch the roof of your mouth.
  • Exhale and let your tongue relax.
  • Take a few deep breaths and let your mind focus on the things you want to remember or analyze.
